FAQ
What is dmcheck?
dmcheck lets you enter a keyword to check whether domains with multiple TLDs are available. Results are fetched in real time via WHOIS and RDAP protocols and streamed back one by one.
Is it free?
dmcheck is completely free with no usage limits and no registration required.
Why do some domains show "Unknown"?
Some registries' WHOIS servers may be slow or refuse connections. You can click the row to open the detail panel — the system will retry with a separate query and may get a result.
Does "Available" guarantee I can register it?
Not necessarily. Results are based on WHOIS/RDAP data which may have slight delays. The domain could already be taken, reserved, or require special qualifications. Confirm with a registrar before purchasing.
Which TLDs are supported?
By default, 15 popular TLDs are checked. Click "TLD Settings" to customize — your list is saved in the browser.
TLDs with direct WHOIS: com, net, org, biz, info, name, pro, mobi, app, dev, xyz, top, site, online, store, tech, cloud, blog, shop, club, live, space, fun, vip, work, ltd, group, world, link, life, icu, design, studio, global, digital, network, solutions, media, services, agency, run, ink, pub, wiki, plus, cool, zone, today, one, domains, fish, surf, town, now, io, ai, co, me, im, cc, tv, us, cn, uk, de, fr, jp, kr, au, ca, ru, in, nl, eu, it, se, ch, be, pl, nz, sg, hk, tw, is, sh
TLDs not in the list above will be queried via RDAP protocol, which has broader coverage.
Where does the data come from?
dmcheck queries go directly to each registry's WHOIS server (port 43). Some TLDs use IANA's RDAP bootstrap service. No third-party middlemen, no scraping.
Are results cached?
Registered domain info is briefly cached to speed up repeat queries. Available status is not cached for long, ensuring you see fresh results.
Do you log my queries?
dmcheck does not store query keywords linked to user identity. Server logs are used for troubleshooting only and are never used to analyze search intent or sold to third parties.
Do you offer an API?
No public API at the moment. If you have bulk query or integration needs, feel free to contact us.
